Using Free Online Tools to Manage and Grow Your Small Business

Suresh Khanna, a Google executive and owner of Kasa Indian Eatery in the Castro and Marina, will host an interactive, practical session covering the many free tools that small businesses can use to grow and manage their business, using his own restaurant as a case study for what worked and what didn’t work.

Biography: Suresh Khanna runs North America Inside Sales for Google, where his team is responsible for new advertiser acquisition.  Since joining Google in 2006, he has also led the business development efforts for Google’s Local Channel Sales team, focused on acquiring local business advertisers at scale.

Prior to Google, Suresh spent several years in the enterprise software industry at SAP and Siebel Systems, providing sales advisory services and setting up an offshoring team in India. Prior to that, he was Director of Business Development at Yodlee, an Internet company in Silicon Valley. Earlier, he was a Senior Tech M&A analyst at Jefferies Broadview and a Principal at late stage private equity firm Broadview Capital.  Outside of work, Suresh and his wife own and operate Kasa Indian Eatery in San Francisco, voted Best Meal Under $15 in SF in 2009 and Best New SF Restaurant in 2009.   He has an 8-year old son and a 5-year old daughter and coaches their soccer and baseball teams.

Suresh holds a dual BA in Economics and Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
