USF Gellert Center Hospitality and Food Industry Symposium

The University of San Francisco’s Gellert Family Business Center will host a hospitality/food industry symposium on Tuesday, May 7th during San Francisco’s Small Business Week. The symposium, which will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the McLaren Conference Center, Room 252, will feature two industry panels on a range of topics including:

- Ethical sourcing
- Branding and marketing strategies for today’s post-COVID environment.
- Second generation continuity tricks & tips
- Strategic incubation for long-term success

Featured moderators include CA State Treasurer Fiona Ma and USF Associate Vice Provost Thomas Maier. Our panelists will provide invaluable insights to help your family business thrive in this dynamic sector.

In collaboration with Renaissance Entrepreneurship-Bayview Center, the symposium will also showcase ten local area vendors as part of the “makers” focus of San Francisco’s Small Business Week..
