Shop and Dine in the 49 is San Francisco’s citywide campaign to encourage buying local and supporting San Francisco manufacturers and artisans. In collaboration with Shop Small and San Francisco’s Buy Local campaign, Shop & Dine in the 49 promotes local businesses and challenges residents to do their shopping and dining within the 49 square miles of San Francisco. Traditionally the program hosts 2 Pop Up Shops at City Hall Sponsored by Square, this year is no different. Local small businesses still need the community’s support, perhaps more than ever, so that is why we have made it easy for you to buy local from the comfort of your home.
